Solid Foundations

Hey guys

I've been on & off since.. well, since i ever joined this community. Needless to say, I'm quite a bit older now, & have grown up quite a bit. Even in the last year, I have changed immensely.

The past events of the last 5 years have forced me to grow up passed such childish mind-sets of jealousy, anger & resentment, etc. You know the drill. There is no room for such shit, & there is no point stressing over things that can't be helped.

My fiance & I now own a house. We officially bought it on the 29th of September 2008, & haven't regretted it one bit. Needless to say, much better than renting, & actually turns out cheaper anyways.
With a potential graphic designing position opening up, I'm currently in the process of reinvigorating my creative juices. Wish me luck!

i also like doing stuff originally from sketch but all the inking/CGing I prefer to do on the computer.

i used to sketch on the computer as well to avoid lead covered hands but the proportions were so off I went back to basics :P

Haha. Agreed about the lead-covered hands. It wasn't until my last year of school (2005) that I started actually working top to bottom with my work, so now lead isn't really any issue (unless I really get into what I'm drawing & keep changing details all over)

Sketching straight onto computer takes heaps of practice, but I seem to have a habit of enlarging my heads when I do.. then I get half way through the job, realize it looks crap, & bin it haha. <-- story of my art life since pangya was released.

Do you use painter or photoshop?

i actually use paint tool sai lol, i only touch up with photoshop for any effects
